 Dr. Ajai
Kumar is a radiation and medical oncologist with more than 30 years
of experience in the US and India in the delivery of cancer care and the
management of cancer centers. Ajai practiced in the US as an oncologist for 25
years and relocated to India in 2002 to focus on building the cancer centers
under HCG. Ajai received his MBBS from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore and
undertook fellowships in Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology at the M.D
Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston. He is also the Chairman of the International
Human Development & Upliftment Academy (IHDUA). He has been awarded ‘Face of the
year 2006’ by Modern Medicare. and has received the prestigious B.C.Roy Award
and Kannada Rajyotsava award.
 Mr. V. Vasudevan is a finance professional with
over 30 years of industry experience. A Chartered Accountant by training, Mr.
Vasudevan came to HCG in 2000 following the acquisition of Curie. Previously Mr.
Vasudevan served as the CFO of Soni Medical Systems in Bangalore. Mr. Vasudevan
also received a Masters in Business Law from the National Law School, Bangalore.
Mr. Vasudevan with his multifaceted expertise and meticulous knowledge in the
area of corporate finance heads the finance team of HCG. Mr. Vasudevan is a
Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
 Dr. Jagdish Kothari (M.S., M.Ch.) after his
training in surgical oncology went for advanced training at the department of
Hepatobiliary & Colorectal services Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New
York. He performs hepatic resection, stapled rectal surgery, pelvic
extenterative surgery etc. with consistently good results. He is also trained at
John Hopkin’s Institute, Baltimore.
 Dr. Kaustubh Patel (M.S., M.Ch.) after his
training in surgical oncology went for advanced training at the department of
Head & Neck services Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York. He has
one of the largest experience of Microvascular reconstruction, voice preserving
Laryngectomy, laser surgery, Craniofacial surgery etc. He is also trained at MD
Anderson Cancer Center, Houston and Free University Hospital, Amsterdam. He is
founder secretary of Gujarat Society of Head and Neck Oncology ( G-SHNO)
 Dr. D.G. Vijay (M.S., M.Ch.) specializes in
breast cancer- breast conservation surgery & reconstruction surgery after
mastectomy. He is also working on issues like spreading cancer awareness and
early detection. He has also trained at the department of breast & plastic &
reconstructive services, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York.
